Default Baja Turbo uppipe or down pipe?

N00bQuestions maybe, or breaking new ground;

Does the Baja-T have the same turbo as the STi, or FXT?
What, if any, uppipes and/or downpipes fit it? Since the 05GT is coming people might be interested in these Legacy chassis questions.
Also noticed the Baja TMIC is a lot smaller than the STi's, does anyone know if there is enough room for an STi cooler or WRX cooler? It looks like it might be a tight fit.
thanks for helpin the old man out

The Baja and Forester turbos use the same TD-04 as the wrx, the STi uses a VF-39. You can put other intercoolers on these models but you will need to fabricate some mounts. Also, first mod I would do for performance (and saftey of your turbo) is a catless uppipe.
Cheers,
Joel

Thanks Joel. Will a 2.0L uppipe fit a 2.5L? Are there mounting size and location differences? I've read turbo-V6's post where he put a WRX downpipe on his STi, can I do the same on a Baja? Or the same on the Baja uppipe?

Yes, all the uppies and downers are interchangable. Because the engine's exterior shape never changes, just the internals. Any uppie and any downer will work, please don't buy the HKS Downpipe though, it's that cheap for a reason.
Cheers,
Joel
