I would have to say, and I could be wrong, You need more cat. The purpose of the rear sensor is not for engine management per say. It performs an emmisions function. The ECU will throw a CE if it doesn't see enough of a difference between the front and rear o2 sensor signals. I'd have to say that the rear sensor isn't malfunctioning, it's working perfectly.

Pete is correct. With just one high flow cat, the rear O2 doesn't see enough of a difference between the front and rear O2 output waveforms.
I had to install 2 high flow cats to get around the CE Cat light issue. Mark 99' RSt |

Could one just keep the Cat the way it is and place a resistor on the O2 sensor. That way you'll read much lestt voltage. Just a thought on tricking the ECU that's all.

Not that much loss... i felt more loss when getting the cat back N1... and i dont have an intake so i dont feel much top end benefit... so i suggest doing intake first... its lot louder with teh new midpipe though... sounds different...
