Default Tec-II maps

alright guys/gals i am wondering if anyone here has a 98 RS-T.
I have a minnam stage 2 turbo kit, custom fuel railes, RC550cc injectors. If anyone has a map that i could use as a guide or a identical setup they wouldnt mind sharing with me. I would really appreciate it. i checked about having a shop tune the car for me, and they want 175/hour to tune it.

wow, for 175 an hour u could get a brain transplant.

save your money and get a wideband 02 sensor and EGT guage. Then tune it yourself. This way you can self-tune everytime you upgrade a part, and youll come out ahead in the long run.

I found some old TEC maps that I think are the old base maps that Shiv (vishnu tuning) used to have posted on his website. They'd be for a '99 and later SOHC engine, but if you want them, pm me your email address and I'll send them to you - assuming I can find them again.

Naturally, since I'm not even 100% sure what these were for, I don't guarentee anything - use completely at your own risk.

wouldnt i still be able to use the maps? because the 99 has same compression as 98 9.7:1. It might make a difference that its DOHC, i dont know. cant hurt to find out.

Skully ~ I have a bunch of different map files from different models. Again, your best bet is to use them as a guide to see what others have had some success with. Over on Shiv's website, search for a thread which will walk you through initial tuning steps. The first and most important step is to determine a reason MIOT and offset.

If there's enough interest, I'll zip up all the map files that I have and host them for download.

If you're in the hosting mood, would you mind pm-ing me your email so I can fire these '99 maps your way too? That'll potentially save me a lot of emailing.

Thanks
