Default H&R or Tein springs?

Hey guys
i am getting a set of 18" for my 04 wrx
so i am planning to get a set of springs too
i have either Tein or H&R to choose from
wat do u guys prefer?
I like tein more but i wanna see wat other subby drivers think
will 1.8" front drop be better than 1.4"?
cuz those are the choices i have with Tein

and i am also wonder if the springs will void the warranty of my car.... cuz i just bought my car like 3 months ago

I currently use H+R's with my car with 18" OZ superleggara's the fender gap is PERFECT.!! I like the H+R's ride quality, since it is almost the same ride quality as a stock WRX.

i hope there arent too many speed bumps or stuff for where u have to go ... i just think it would be a little tough for 1.8" drop

but definitely u would be looking for something around 1.5", 18" just gives the WRX a outback look that didnt go well with me

springs shouldnt void waranty unless it would correspond to something. IE if ur shocks fail prematurely, then u r hooped since that is directly related to ur lowered springs. however, if ur transmission gives out, since it doesnt relate to the springs at all and u should be alright

oh what 18"s did u get chopchop? some pics might be nice

Tein has a new set of springs for the 04's that came out this year. That makes the car slammed and it's soooo nice.

Go with tein. I heard they are pretty good on factory shocks.

Hey.. I haven't gone looking.. So flame me if you want..

But what's changed between the 02-03 and the 04 WRX suspension? Was it just the shocks?

I have S-techs on my car and i love them. I saw the H&R's and it still looked like the front end was high. With the tein's the wheel gap is basically perfectly even. I'm also on 18's and I love the ride and the handling.

For clarification, the Tein is a 1.8"/1.0" drop while the H&Rs are a 1.5"/1.4" drop.

I've heard around here that the teins are poorer quality and start to sag after about a year or so on stock struts thats why I have H&R's Do a search

ah sorry guys for the lack of reply
the post dissappeared so fast already hahaah

anyways...
i found out that there are a lot of different inch drops with TEIN
the max i saw is 2.4"
but the problems are that
1.) will anythign get scartched during speedbumps?? although i am sticking with the stock exhaust it should be fine... i guess
2.) will a bigger drop kill the shocks faster?

its hard for me to decide now cuz some ppl say H&R but some say TEIN.......
but still.....wat amount of drop should i be looking for with my 18"??? i dun want the car to have the same gap size like my stock w/ the stock 16".....

anyways heres a picture... if it work

18" work emotion CR Kai bronze

Chop, come to the meet next weekend and you can ask around and look at cars. Some cars will be newer than others so you will get to see if ride heights sag after a year or not.

oh when is the meet?
cuz i think i need to call in and order the stuff in a day or two..

edit:
hey guys, i just went to measure the tire gap with my stock rims.... the front is around 3.5" and rear is around 2.25"

and i see that a 2.4" drop isnt that bad.....
