Your allowed to drive your car in BC without a front plate IF and ONLY IF your plates are from another province/state that allows no front plate!

In other words, if you've got BC plates, you need the front plate.

Also, folding/cutting your plate to make it like a "euro" plate is illegal. Most cops overlook it though.

LaterZ!

depends on where you live and where are you going...
most vancouver police won't bother to write you ticket for that, BUT richmond police 100% write you one, also if your car has little mods on it, they write you a notice and order to do an inspection

tell that to my friend... he did this on his golf for the euro look and he got pulled over by vancouver police, got into an argument, and ended up having both his plates confiscated for "evidence in court" and he went home on a flatbed tow truck

It must be on.
If you won't ahve it on, just keep the plate in your trunk. its a more expensive ticket to put your license plate on your dash because its a hazard if you have to break hard.

Its more expensive to have a plate on the dash than to not have it at all.

Just get a Y piece of steel and drill one hole on the top part of the whole between your fog lights. Put a bolt in there to secure it and use the two ends of the Y to put your license plate. Or you can get chickenwire grill between your fog lights and get zap straps and zap it in. Its legal as long as its facing straight and upright.
