Default timing gear

hi everyone, i got a great deal on a 95 impreza but the crankshaft pulley nut wasn't tight and it ruined the pulley and the timing gear how do you remove the timing gear? thanks. damon

I'm assuming you're talking about the crank timing gear right?

With the pulley off, t-belt removed the gear should just slide off the crankshaft. It is a pretty tight fit, but it just slides off the keyway.
