Default Turbo MY02 or newer 2.5RS?

I was wondering if anyone ever puts turbo kits on 2002 and up 2.5RS's.

I've seen an older 2.5RS with a turbo kit. I imagine people do this because they prefer the looks and lighter weight of that particular chassis (as so I) but desire the higher output that a turbo affords them. Since no turbo engine is availabe from the factory in that body style a turbo kit seems like the way to go.

I've never seen a MY02 or newer 2.5RS with a turbo kit though. I would imagine most people that want a turbo would buy a WRX. If price was a prohibiting factor, one could buy a 2.5RS and get a turbo kit down the road but it probably would be easier to just trade it in on a WRX.

So, there's my thought process. So, does anyone have a 2002 and up 2.5RS with a turbo kit?

A GC8 2.5RS is contradictory.

GC8 = EJ20 turbo from factory. Not available in the US
GM6/GC6 = EJ25 (2.5RS)

It's like I'm so dumb. I've edited my above post to reflect what I actually meant to ask. Thanks scoobyimprza!

I'm sorry. I was just answering your question.

To answer the question you meant to ask: yes, I believe some people have. I know of a few EJ22 shortblock swaps going around, but I'm pretty sure there a few new age RS-Ts.
