Question UR Pulley Questions

I just got my pulley from Teague's. Now I need to know the right tension for the belts before I go pulling the car apart. Any one know what that is supposed to be and how I can measure it? Also, when I reset my ECU, am I supposed to lose my radio station presets? I have lost my trip odo readings, but that's it. Does this mean I'm not letting the system discharge long enough?

TIA Dan Z.

Just so you know, you shouldn't have to reset your computer when you install the underdrive pulley (assuming that is the only mod you've done, of course). You haven't changed the amount of air or fuel going into the engine, only decreased it's parasitic loss.

Check the owner's manual, it tells you how to check belt tension. Keep in mind that you'll have to adjust again later as the belts break in.

Yes, since you've cut electrical power to the car, it will forget your radio presets as well as the trip odo.
