belt tension?
I am going to be installing the underdrive pulley this weekend and was wondering, how do I tell if the belt is at the correct tension?
I have seen the prior threads about about some people having problems with the belts getting too loose after the install and am hoping to avoid this.

The best thing to do is to check the tension on the stock belts before you loosen them and just duplicate that tension. Basically you can move the stock belts about 1/4 - 1/3" if you push in themiddle of their longest run. The thing to watch out for when you install the new belts is to make sure that there is enough adjustment left once the belts are at the proper tension so that you will be able to tighten them up again after the do teir initial stretch after about 100 miles.
