Default Link plus on 2002 r-t

Hey, I just want to know if anyone had installed a Link ECu in a 2002 rs-t. I want to buy one but for some reason the owner report that it fried the coils on his 2002 rs-t.

Need answer fast, help!

Elliot

Check your PM man

Side note unless somebody can correct me, the 2.5L NA Subaru Engines ALL came with the same coil pack. I'm thinking tuner error, but who knows....

FutureSTIer and i were discussing this, i think he was told they are all the same, which they could be, because i believe there are people running them on 02+ already but if there is a problem i suspect its because the 02 RS is using the same coilpack as the wrx, but im not positive on this. maybe they made a switch at a certain point.

Coil pack is different on the 98rs. Other than that they are the same.

I have several map including one from wcbjr. timming is about the same for most of them. fueling is a bit different but In Puerto Rico we just recievied the first AWD dyno and I will be tunning the car there. Yesterday a WRX made 334WHP in the Dynojet!!

Kick ass!!

Guys any recomendation on how to read the logs and them tune.
I want to do this by myself I will have a guru of tuning by my side just to make sure I don't blow the engine but I really want to learn.
