Post Dummy Switch

Hey guys,
I have a 98 RS, and I have a dummy switch, right next to the fog light switch, that has wired terminals in the back, but a blank face.
Does someone know what it's for???
It's the first switch on the left.

Thanx in advance!

yeah, i have a 98 too, and i noticed the same dang thing, was this not an option for 98 or what? I wanna cruise at 110 on the freeway (yeah, that'd get me rolled real quik) but would it be possible to rewire it, for say a set of hella driving lamps, or some fun toys in the car. Or would it be easier to use one of the other blanks. Or i am just insane, and that wouldn't work for anything but cruise control. Thanks.

The cruize doesn;t like to work at over a 100mph. I tried it last year. I think it stops between 100-105mph.. So you aren't at a major loss. But use a difernt balnk incase you decide you want cruize later.

Hey 98mpreziveRS,
It is goin' to be used for Hella Rally 1000's.
They're already installed, but I just wanted to know if I could use the live wire on the connector! I bought a Subaru switch that is going in today!

See YA

thanks for the replies. Doom...hehe, sounds like the same setup i was thinking of doing. Ahh well, another kind of idiotic question.
Am i the only person with 2 dummy switiches next to fog switch, as well as a dummy switch on the other side. Or do they all have it, and i just payed no attention. But anyhow, when i turbo my beast, one swtich will be for IC sprayer, one switch for what i hope to be a switch to turn goodies in car off and on, so when i let somebody drive my car, i can hit the "dummy switch" and not let them monkey with the bost controller and AFC and such. Ahh well, just another stupid question i suppose.
