not in the intercooler but in the exhaust

i go out nd start my car and hear a rattling sound
i shut it off and start to check things out
i get to the exhaust and shaket and hear the rattle
so i pull off the cat back and find 5-7 acorns

turns out a squirll(sp) was making a stash
i dont drive that much so i figure he was stashing for the winter
so i clean them out

2 days later i see the little rodent with carbon all over his back

now i keep a coffee can over the tip

^^LOL, the same happened to me, only twas my air intake silencer that was filled with the peanut shells because I had taken off the "ram" scoop. Everytime I went over a bump, I heard a rattle (I don't know how the creatures got in there ). Those darn mice or w/e are what motivated me to do the snorkus-delete mod

Going along with this, my bro has a 1981 Porsche 911SC that stays at my parents house cause he just got a job in Denver and doesn't want it to be a daily commuter. Well when we first got the car the owner was telling us about the HVAC system and whatnot and said that sometimes it smoked inside the cabin when you left it on. Well we took the car in to have it serviced before we bought it and then said something wasn't right. Well up inside of the heating system there had been some mice that "stocked up" for winter. When I say stocked up I mean stocked up.....

There was 5 POUNDS of dry dog food in there!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's been a while since I've checked this thread, but it's good to see some of you got some enjoyment/laughs out of the bird I killed and roasted on my IC. I've since gone for the eBay TMIC (SS AutoChrome model) and will probably sell the original WRX TMIC.

(The acorn story is hillarious! But it also shows you need to get out more!)

Does it count as resurrection if the thread is <2wks stale?

I watched a lit cigarette leave the window of the #%@%$ in front of me and go into my scoop one day last week on the way into work. I was torn between pulling over and making sure my i/c wasn't on fire and chasing him down to ram a lit cigarette up each nostril. In the end I just carried on (since I was almost late for work anyway) and must have cleaned it out when I did the power-wash today.

Driving home the other day i tagged a robin at like 70. The scoop decapitated the birdy cleanly and then ended up getting bbq'ed up on the ic. haha
