In my search for a bull bar I contacted East Coast Bull Bars like mentioned in a previous thread. They got back to me within a couple of hours which really surprised me since they are located in Austraila. They would be more then happy to get me one... but here's the deal. They have a wide selection ranging in price from $470-$895. Shipping is $530 but only to your nearest port, where you then have to pay import duties, release fees, and taxes payable. Keep in mind that the bar price and shipping price is in Australian Dollars. I checked the exchange rate and a US $ is worth $1.40 in Australia. So roughly it would be a $1000.00 for the bull bar I like. Which is way too much. I contacted Rallitek to see how long before they come out with there bull bar, hopfully I will here from them soon.

Or you could go to your local race car fab shop, the kind that builds cages and real race cars for ovals and whatnot, and have them build you one. I bet they'd do it for less than 200. Then you'd have to paint it or chrome it.
We have about 7 of them around my area, so I asked my wife if I could bring the Baja to the race car fab shop and get an estimate for brush bars and nerf bars. She said "Don't even think about it!" I'm getting the feeling that our Baja will remain sterile for a long time. |

Bull bars can look mean if you get the right one...
Sounds like getting one custom fabricated would be expensive. |

We paid over a grand for the ARB on our truck. Well worth the money IMHO.
