Unhappy Idle problem after ECU reset

I went down to Las Vegas for Import night at the drags down there (which I won). Since Vegas is 1/2 the altitude I am at home, I figured I would reset my ECU. What could it hurt right? Well now my car idles at about 1750 RPM ever since I did it. I tried reseting it again when I got home but it still idles really high.

What could be wrong?

Check the connections on every hose, if you haven't done so already.

The next would be any “aftermarket” electronics, including stereo. Check for loose wire, bad grounds, etc..

Finally, do an ECU reset by disconnecting you negative terminal for approx. 30-45min. Reconnect, start the car, and let it idle without touching the throttle at all.
After about 15min of idle, turn off the car, wait(count to ten), and restart.

Hope this helps if you haven’t already tried.
