Default turbo question

I'm puting together a turbo kit. My goals for my project are horse power in the 300-350 area, and to put together a fast spooling very low to no lag turbo. What turbo do you think I should use??
Thanks

What motor?

If its a 2.5L, try a VF39 off a USDM STi... cheap, reliable and 300hp (wheel or crank) is possible. Not much lag from what I gather.

You can also go Garrett if you want to do more custom work, T3 or larger or a GT25 (maybe GT28) or larger... There are tons of options out there.

Unless you really like to work on cars and swear alot. Go buy a WRX, it will be cheaper with many fewer headaches for that power goal in the long run.

Check out LICmototsports. They post on I-club in the conversions forum. They do a lot of engine/ drivetrain swaps and from what I understand, are some of the best at it in the country. LOTS of EJ20T swaps done into GC chassis'. Approx. $7-8000.
