When turboing a NA subaru or adding more boost to an already turboed subaru should the head still be tightened to stock specifications or should it be tightened more for the added psi?
ALWAYS USE THE STOCK SPECS FOR STOCK BOLTS!!! someone who makes a lot more money than you and I (combined) and is a lot smarter, determined exactly what the "stretch" point is and waht the "yield" point is... over torque the bolt and it yields... doesn't mean it breaks, just that the head is not properly clamped under all conditions and the gasket fails quickly. Aftermarket bolts/studs (ARP) are a different story, use their specs.
Thanks, I used factory specs and just wanted to check.
