Post Reline Oil

I recently purchased 4 qts of redline tranny oil. I have a 5spd manual and the only problem is that the place I bought the oil from only had 75W90. They did not have NS.
Would this be ok to put in? Or does it have to be 75W90 NS only?
Btw..I have a 99 RS so it does not have limited slip.

So your saying to put 75w90NS in my tranny and 75w90 in my differential?

What can happen if I were to put 75w90 in my tranny?

You are better off doing a search on redline and tranny... But the short of it is 75w90 does not give enough friction to the synchros for them to work properly. Bad grinding...

Do NOT use Redline 75w90 in your tranny. Find the 75w90NS and save yourself headaches... The 75w90 can go in your rear diff, you only need one quart.

Warning, people have had varying results from putting even the 75w90NS into the tranny, so apply at your own risk.

Redline ATF ... yes it has been in my 99RS for about a year. No ill effects. The transmission does shift slightly better when very cold.
My concern is heat. There has been no darking (burning) of the fluid after many AutoX events.

I spoke with Redline tech todat and he did say to use NS becasue the friction modifiers are not good for the gears.

Thanks for your help guys.
