Post Suspension Problems... Need Suggestions.

My '99 RS is running on bone stock suspension. This winter I was run off the road by another car and hit a curb (with front passenger side wheel). After the incident I replaced a rim and had the allignment fixed/wheels balanced.
But I am still having some problems. There is a lot of play in my steering wheel, and the car is real shifty at high speeds. Also, I am getting a really rough ride up front. I just assumed it was either ball joints or tie rods or wheel bearings or maybe even a bent strut...

Well, I just took it to the dealer to have 'em try to fix it and they cannot find ANYTHING wrong with the front end. Nothing bent, struts and springs look ok, ball joints and tie rods ok. Now I am not nuts, I know something is wrong. Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what it could be?

Thanks,
Niggz

That is by their standards though, which is within "acceptable wear". You should put it up yourself and wiggle the wheels (the one that went over the curb you should pay mor attention to) and see if you hear anything or if there is a lot of play. If so you have to get under and see if you can eyeball what it is. Could be ball joints, tie rod ends, or in worst-case-scenario, your steering rack itself.
