Post Recommended tire rotation pattern?

Time to rotate (what a dumb saying) the tires. My fronts have a helluva lot more wear then my rears after 3500 miles so I better pay attention to this one.

Now should I just front to back change them or should I cross the car (FL to RR, FR to LR, etc)?

If they are dirctional tyres you can only swap them front to rear on the same side!

Sorry, I still have the RE92's on. Gonna wear htem to nothing before putting out the cash for new tires.... I don't think that'll take long with my autocrossing aggressiveness, though.

Actually with non-directionals you should do back to front and front to opposite back.

Heh, well since I don't have access to a lift I'll just do it front to back then. I couldn't get all 4 wheels off the ground if my life depended on it (unless I was driving, that is). Thanks guys.

All you need is 4 jackstands (about $30). Bring your car over sometime and I'll do it for you, once my car is mobile again .

Rob, you've had enough trouble with that kit to have to spend weeks of quality time at home... I can get it one side up at a time, no problem. Thanks for the offer though.

Cool

I just use my spare tire. Jack the car up, take the tire off, put the spare on, lower the car, move on.........I know it takes time but I am cheap!

I got a pair of 6 ton jackstands the other day for $29.95, from Checker Autoparts. So I could install my new exhaust when it arrives this week.

I thought that was great price.
