Post Rear Strut Tower Bar Install questions

i know the bar mounts on the top of towers, but where does it run? right underneath the rear shelf? i am asking because i have a subwoofer box that comes about 1.5"-2" from the bottom of the metal shelf in the trunk.

if anyone has any pics of bar mounted, that would be great. thanx

The bar runs in the trunk, about 2-3" below the rear deck and about 1-2" away from the back of the seat. It's hard to describe without pics (sorry I don't have any!). For reference, my Igloo cooler (fits 2 12packs in it) just barely slides under the bar.

Hope this helps!

okay if it is like only 1-2" from the rear seat back that should not be a problem then. i will just move the sub box forward and up against it. it should work out okay. pics would still be cool, thanx.

You'll see the bar going across right under the rear deck a few pics down.
