I've had mine installed since February along with the KYB/AGX's and am very pleased with there performance. The car sits about 1.25" lower and the ride is definitly stiffer but not uncomfortable. They improve the cars handling dramatically, stock the car handled "good" now it is "on rails". There is no wheel "hop" and no "bounce" over bumps. The springs still support the car fully loaded (2 Adults, 1 child + baby seat, play pen, stroller, luggage, etc.) without the rear end sagg. I will hopefully have some pics up by this weekend.

EDIT: Sp

You could, but I would suspect that you would get better performance by getting upgraded struts on the stock springs.

If true performance isn't a factor, get the springs on the stock struts, but be prepared, aftermarket springs tend to wear stock struts very quickly.

EDIT: BLTZKRG - glad to hear it wasn't a problem with the springs. And as soon as you get a chance go auto-xing, you will have a blast and the KYB's & the Tein's are very well suited for it!

Kid22 & pwrup25RS - I know that the PST web site doesn't even mention a Subaru, but trust me they sell the KYB's. Call them up (phone number is on the site) and order them on the phone. I ordered mine from them and had them in 6 or 7 days.

pwrup25RS - Sorry but I don't know a thing about the Tein TypeNR/NA struts, I purchased their springs because of the good reputation of the coil over sets they sell.

Thanks Opie, I'll just go with the tried and true then. I'm sure the TEIN shocks are good, but I doubt I'll wanna pay for them. 100 bux a pop for the AGX is a great deal.

Hey Opie, do you know anything about the Type NR/NA shocks? I was thinking about running TEIN for the springs and the shocks but was wondering if it was worth it.

And I was looking on the Performance Suspension Technology website and couldn't find the KYB/AGX shocks. I'm doing what I shouldn't be doing and using my credit card to buy this damn stuff. ARGH! Pant..pant... I can't help it tho! Got..to. .lower.. my...car!

How did you get in contact with Zen motorsports? I'm getting frustrated trying to get in touch with them! I've called them three times and nothing. I've emailed them and nothing. I just left a message and hopefully they'll respond to that, but I'm not crossing my fingers anymore.. Who else can I get a good deal from on those S-techs?

I'm getting this combo from JC Sports tomorrow for $625 and want to know if there is any way I can make my old MY00 stock front struts fit my wife's 1993 Mercury Villager that needs new struts after 150,000 miles.

Anybody have a clue if this will work?

Larry www.ImprezaRS.com

PS: Don't ask me why she isn't getting the new struts when mine are still new. My autocrossing co-driver wants to win the last race of the season and is PAYING for them out of his pocket if I also install springs and give him my old worn RE730's at the end of the season (with 9 autocrosses on them).
