Post Opie! or n e 1 help. RE: S-Tech springs

I just got my tein s-tech springs. I was just playing around with them and noticed that I was able to compress them with my hands. With my experience, I have NEVER been able to do that before. I know they're the soft springs, but are they supposed to be THAT soft?! How the hell are they supposed to hold up the car when I can compress them with my hands?!

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Have a Nice Day?

How much are the Tiens supossed to lower the car? How much have people measured aftre installation?

I have Eibachs on my GT Wgn and it was soft too - can compress it quite a bit. And it dropped the car 1.5+in.

Typically I think they need to be pretty soft so that they can lower the car beyond 1+in, while maintaining its position during full suspension extension when you go flying over dips etc. Short springs with long shocks will pop out of position.

Good Luck.

Most of the people that I've talked to say about 1.2. I've been around alot of springs and i've never been able to compress them as much as I've been able to compress the TEINs. Oh well, just have to wait and see yea?
