Question I'm confused:help

It says and springs or shocks then it says ad struts or shocks
Isn't thier a big difference, unfortunatley I don't know the difference, Please help me
And check out nopi they have some new springs for the impreza I think

this is from spd:

Add our SPD/Eibach/Germany Sport spring kit to standard RS shocks or WRX replacement shocks.
AGX 4-way adjustable front, 8 way rear struts with stock or SPD/Eibach springs.


SPD/Eibach Sport Springs for RS or WRX shocks $287

KYB AGX struts 4-way adjustable front, 8-way rear $459

In my experience, people generally refer to the 'strut' as just the dampener while the 'spring' is just the spring. A "shock" can be either just the strut, or a combination of the struts and springs, depending on who you're talking to. In this case the author is just using the term "shock" and "strut" interchangeably to refer to the dampener without a spring.

and do the eibach springs lower the car at all

Eibach Sport springs for use with shocks (struts) from either a WRX or RS. These are springs that are supposed to used be with those kinds of shocks (struts).

I have no idea if they change ride height...
