Default squeaking noise from clutch pedal?

searched to no avail...
anyone else have a clutch pedal that squeaks for a short time when depressed about 3/4? i nearly had to replace a disc in my back after laying down sideways trying to isolate the noise from the pedal area.
any help is appreciated. thanks.

You can just use some grease on the pivot points where the clutch pedal is. That usually resolves the problem.

Little WD-40 worked for me.

if you wd-40'd it or greased it yourself, can you describe the exact "pivot point" that you greased? i greased multiple pivoting areas and still the darn noise is there.

I sprayed the pivoting point, let it soak, then pumped the clutch, and bloated the excess away. It didn't go away immediately, though.
