I did this in march; it was sold out, a great price for 1 sun. in class, the next sat/sun on track.
$428 incl tax. This awesome school teaches coordinated passing in turns as well (rare! Although only usable in wheel to wheel racing). Note snell M helmets were ok in march, despite the same text “requiring” snell SA helmets: http://sccbc.net/pdf/Mar04/DriverTraining2004.pdf if u don’t know how to heel/toe downshift, ask someone and start practicing asap (to do it smoothly is much tougher than upshifting, for me anyway).

I've been working on the Heel/toe actually. I found that I was cheating a little bit before. Before, I couldn't only heel/toe blip, then I would have to get on the gas by itself to engage smoothly. Now I can heel/toe blip, engage the gear whilst braking, and then do it again if need be.
I actually found out my optometrist(sp?) is an instructor for sccbc, so I'll be heading to this event =). |
