What do u guys think of this ECU? (for STI)

im on the waitlist for this thing.
there are so many different kinds to choose from though. anyone have any thoughts, experience or recommendations as far as ecu/software upgrades are concerned?

Cobb AccessPort is nice, you don't need to send your ECU out every time you want it reflashed.

looks good...I too am in a quandry as to what EM to get for my STi. There are just too many to choose from....(Which is good in a way

which EM are u leaning towards?

i know with element tuning u do not have to send them your ecu and they can also send u new maps.

so many features with element. do the others like utec and cobb have lots of functions as well?

I am leaning towards the Vishnu Xede system...only when they release a Plug-n-Play system. I had excellent results with their Stage 1 kit on my old '02 WRX and I an in love with their STi 3" TBE exhaust that I just received.

i just find it strange that vishnu does not allow for u to change your intake

true...but I guess with so many variables on filter-type (oil/gauze/etc), intake length and design, among other smaller variables...Vishnu has decided that working with 1 model and 1 model only (stock box) this will allow them to have consistant and repeatable intake readings (both in temp. and flow rate).

Don'tget me wrong, I wish that I could run my hacked Injen intake with their system once I get a P-n-P, but I will just have to sell it for some gas $!!

I thought it was a commonly know fact that the stock airbox flows just fine unless you're going for huge hp.

what kevin said... most open intakes causes the MAF sensor readings to go all over the map and it's difficult to tune.

i remember an FAQ somewhere on nasioc but i can't find it right now
