Default Subaru Recall Letter..

anyone got this?

i'm in hk and my bro said subaru canada sent a letter out saying..

"SUBARU CANADA, INC. has determined that a number of 2001-2004 Legacy Outback H6 and 2002-2004 Impreza WRX 2.0l vehicles have a cruise control cable that could come out of its track on the cruise control lever and lodge on the control lever tab when the accelerator pedal is released. If this condition occurs, the throttle will not return to the idle position. This condition could occur at any time without prior warning, even while the cruise control is turned off."

Nope, but I got this in the mail today:

Owner Notification Letter
Service Program WWP-99

This letter is sent to you in the interest of customer satisfation. As a precautionary measure, Subaru Canada, Inc. is recommending that a special conditioner be added to the engine cooling system of certain 1999 through 2002 model year Subaru vehicles equiped with 2.5 liter engines. This recommendation, which applies to your Subaru, is made to prevent a possible external coolant leak at your vehicle's engine cylinder head gaskets.

Old news I know....
How come I'm always one of the last ones to get these things?

Yes, but it also says in the letter that they might need your car for the whole day for 'flexibility in scheduling'. Typical car dealer crap, a 15 minute job and they need your car for the whole day
