Default new 04 baja

Just got one of the last 04 Turbos in my area. I love it so far. I never owned or considered Subaru before. I think I get it now.
FYI: Got the Baja for about $3000 under sticker and below invoice.
Thanks for all the great input. I searched this site to help me decide what car to buy.

I hope you love yours as mutch as I love mine. I keep finding more ways that I can use my baja and love it more each time.

Got the automatic in Monteray Silver, w/ subwoofer, bed extender, turbo gauge, etc. I really like it.
The gas mileage is the only real drawback at this point....less than 20mpg combined city/hwy

In general, it should get better as it goes over 3000 miles...

congrats on your new purchase. I have a 5 speed with turbo gauge, bed extender, bed cover, wind defector, mud flaps in black/dark gray.

I was quite displeased initially with the gas mileage, mostly highway and I was barely topping 20. The car now has 7600 miles on it, and on my last fill up I got over 24 mpg, so it does go up

I already got 40 large on my 03 and my mileage is out of this world. 28MPG! I must admit I have no extra weight in my car and I drive with the tailgate down to work and back (80 miles round trip all highway). I also use the cruise on the way home which improves efficency.
