Question Installing STi Fog Covers

I figure since I have had them for over 6 months it is time to install them (If Subaru will give me my car back).

If I remember we had to cut/adapt something for them to fit.

Anyone?

Thanks

The small "L" shaped bracket that is part of the mounting hardware for the cover will have to be cut to clear the back of the light. Just take the light out and then try to re-install with the bracket and I think it will be apparent.

I also trimmed a little plastic off the light. If I remember, you have to cut a good size piece off the bracket, about 1/2 inch or so.

Have a Nice Day?

SubEd is right it's about a 1/2 inch. If you use a plasma cutter don't burn your finger like I did.
