Cody and Mo! Here are some great photos of today at your shop. Thank you so much for installing my Konis and Rotoras. I am so happy with the way my car is handling, and your service is the best.

Total usually gives great deals to us nasioc'ers... and Cody is a certified subaru mechanic which means things are done right and you can do full dealer service there. When you have problems, Cody is always willing to inspect and diagnose the issue without asking for money. As far as retail, I've bought a number of performance parts from them, all well priced... if you can get parts cheaper through hookups or sales, its always good to be smart with your money. When you can get parts in and installed without issues... that is a big bonus for me. Quality before quantity

Half of my wilwoods were bleeded, at a wrong direction and sequence; rear sway bar was being adjusted while the car is on the air; Overpriced service were being quoted; parts were being removed and problems still persist; close to $600 down the drain; And they don't use Subaru filters anymore now? your right pantrie, no matter how hard you try, you cant please every one. However I am very happy with all the work done on my scoobie, full suspension swap, rear disc conversion, front brake swap, the list goes on. if I had done this work at a dealer (that is IF they would do it) it would have cost double with out a doubt. As for the part prices the are average in general , much better than some other shops trust me.
bottom line, cert subie mechanic, excellent labour costs, average cost for parts...... works for me, don't need to take the scoobie any where else ![]() |

Thought I'd jump in with a thank you as well. All work on my car has been done at Total, and while there were some hiccups along the way, I've been very happy with the service and support I've received. Big thanks to Cody

I find Cody @ Total very easy going and is willing to please. I made the mistake of buying Autometer gauges and pods for my STi. Cody, not having installed that brand of gauges before spent countless hours installing them without charging extra for the unanticipated time involved. I have been at Specialty Subaru and if you guys are at all interested in mods of any kind...the first words out of their Service Manager's mouth is a resounding NO! "as it would void your warranty" Ironic since their parts department carry all kinds of factory and aftermarket goodies at ridiculous prices. I also have a problem leaving my car there for the whole day just for an oil change. Cody did it while you wait and was a bit cheaper than the dealer. Total is cool about installing your own sourced hardware and they will just charge for labour.
BTW, Cody tells me that he has invested in a ECU programmer/flasher! They also work on other cars besides Taxi's! They'll do Mits, VW/Audi, Nissan and Volvo servicing and tuning. my 2 cents. |

We agreed with what you said here, they are NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. They threatened their customers and told them to go some where else. And they refused to fix the problems that they caused. Brand new car was scraped and they denied any liability. Money paid, received only headaches!! Will report to BBB |
