Default Accessport Stage 1, ran at the dragstrip

With 3/4 tank of gas, and probably 100 lbs of gear in my car, I made an impulsive move to stop by the track on the way home last week.

Best run for me, was the first. Although it felt like I was bucking off the line, I still pulled a 2.1 sec 60ft and ran 14.7@94mph. The car felt stronger than stock, because my best launch stock also netted a 14.7. This launch didn't feel as solid, as my best run when bone stock.

Next run, I wasn't thinking, and shifted into 4th . Even though I had a 2.0 60ft, I think the 4th gear is what caused a 15.0 sec run.

BTW, everything else on the car is stock, except for the stereo system.

Wow... not to be too harsh but those times are pretty bad. I'm sure you're 60' is killing u'r time. Practice those launches and you'll definitely be low 14's.

I've been wanting to take my stage1 to the track also just to see what I can get but I don't feel like busting on my tranny. I've been to the track and seen a wrx break their tranny on the launch.

Yep, I was expecting to hear that. Call me chicken, but I didn't want to destroy my tranny either.

I just thought I'd post up, since I haven't found a single post from an accessport stg 1 that has been to the track.
