ITC problem's (I need Shiv and anyone with a shop manual)
Okay I have my ITC finally in on my 1997 2.2L (Shut up Tom). I have all wires hooked up correctly according to the wiring diagram in the chiltons that say to utilize pins 7,8(ground?) and 28,29(positives?)(I don't have my multimeter [lost, missing I don't know] otherwise I may be able to figure it out easier). I need to know which of these maybe wrong as the car will not start with the "sensor wires" connected. Shiv I am pretty sure it would use the same pins as they used on the 98 project SCC installed the ITC on any chance that may be they might know something about which ones?(Probably not) Also any one out there with shop manuals can you confirm what pins I stated above? I have already done alot of the "DOH" checks other than confirming the crimped connections(thanks Strepto).

I wish I could help but I have no access to our '98 project car (it's in NJ, last I heard). Nor do I have any first-hand experience with that particular project car. I drove it a couple of times... that's about it. You may want to call A'PEXi for help. Good luck,

Just to make sure the car select switch should be set to 5 and all switches set to up. Also Shiv was the A'pexi engineer who helped on the first project car the one who installed them(I still have the article adn was looking over it again)? I have checked everything on it and even tried switching what I thought was positive and negative as well as the crank and cam positives connected to the ITC. I hope to get another multimeter again tonight and give it a try tomorrow afternoon. Also where are you drawing the power and ground as I have it run off the ECU and IIRC someone mentioned that the ECU is very voltage sensitive (which would make sense damn I wish I didn't lose my multimeter) and that if the voltage drops below a certain amount it will not have enough power to turn over(sounds like the problem). I will post what I find as I will also try and meet up with Kartboy and see if it may be a faulty ITC which I doubt.

Well I have narrowed it down pretty much to it must deal with the ITC since the sensors are correct and I have even run power from the cigarette lighter. Looks like I need to contact Apex'i any idea on wether the 99's and above use a different crank and cam sensor than the pre 99's. Also if it shares any similarity with any of the nissan sensors. Wish teh ITC had better instructions that explained the switch funcitons on the back better for it.
