i worked for charles schwab (the one at msg) not too long ago where one of the top guys drove an enzo. his assistant called in sick for the day but he needed to get his car serviced for something. i guess he noticed how meticulous i am about my car or maybe it was just random i dunno, and he called me up to ask if i would take his car across town to get serviced. of course i said yes and agh! that was just the best day ever. i felt like i owned nyc...

i sure miss that car.

The problem is...pictures do not do the car justice. I thought it looked kinda goofy in pictures (and Charlie's Angels) but DAMN does it look good in person. Besides how cool is it to have a button labeled "race" on your steering wheel

While it was on the lift I had a chance to check it out closely and I was really impressed. The only car I've seen with more carbon is the 333SP I am helping put back together.

Technically, I am an apprentice Maserati technician but we are a Ferrari / Maserati dealer.

I dunno... I thought the Enzo was goofy looking in pictures and then I saw one at the Chicago Auto Show last year and it didn't really change my impression of the car at all. That's not to say that it's not impressive in other ways, though. Technically, the car is awesome. I still give it a 1 out of 10 on the aesthetics.

I agree, it's still not as sexy as some other Pininfarina designs but I definitely liked it better in person. Personally, I think the 550/575 is one of the best looking Ferrari's and pictures don't do that one justice either.

BTW, Sunday there is a Ferrari show downtown on Oak St. I won't be there but I hear they usually have a good turn out.

I'm with Vipre. It didn't do much for me when I saw it at NAIAS. Much sexier to me . . . .

But hey, if you can get a ride. . . . . .

Agreed. The 550/575 are to me the best looking Ferrari's. V-12 front engine, rear drive, flawless body.

In the Car and Driver article about the Enzo, it sez that each quart of oil costs $60 - and the car takes 12.2 quarts! $732 oil change..
