Default A FunnAy from Wolf, for the night crew

Background Info:

My uncle is one of the largest land-owners in Saluda County, SC. He has close to 900 acres, where he and the family farm and hunt. The property is littered with 2 to 3 acre ponds and large fields He and my coursins are probably the most responsible hunters and fishermen out there. They pick and chose which deer they are going to kill, each year(Will let a 3 point go until the next year), set up duck houses, plant grass for deer, catch and release fish that are to small. You get the idea.

The story:

My Uncle invited my father and I to go fishing on "The big pond". This pond is close to 4 acres big(so pretty much a small lake). When we arrive at his house, we notice my Uncle is in the front yard with his very large Winchester rifle. I dont know which model it was, but he calls it his sniper rifle. This thing is huge!!!! and the scope on it is the size of a mans forearm, and the lens is the size of a saucer. Since we were supposed to be going fishing I was kinda confused at the sight of the rifle. My uncle toldus, he was having problems with trespassers poaching on his land. It wouldnt be that big of a deal but they were disrupting the ecosystem with over fishing and doing it all without permission. He wanted to bring up his rifle to the pond just in case. So we headed up to the "big pond" in one of those all terrain golf carts(so we wouldnt make noise approaching the pond). When we creeped up a hill overlooking the pond, and sure enough there was a guy there sitting in a lawn chair, fishing. My uncle pulled out his binoculars, to make sure he didnt know him, and sure enough he didnt. He went back to the cart grabbed his rifle, and crawled on his stomache to the top of the hill. My father and I, first asked "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!" he said "Dont worry im not gunna shoot him". After he setup he said "Alright now keep an eye on this jokers cork".
BOOM!!!! gun went off like a cannon and the water around the cork just exploded, the guy flew backswards in his lawn chair and in trying to stand fell over again, rolled down the bank, into the water. He stood up, at this point my uncle zero'd in on the guys cooler

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!! Cooler goes flying in the air, guy falls back into the water and starts to swim to the other side of the pond, reaches the other bank and just starts running through the woods.

FUNNIEST DAMN THING I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG LONG TIME!!!!needless to saying my uncle has a new tackle box, filled with tackle and a nice folding lawn chair.

cliffnotes: My uncle caught a poacher on his land, fired two shots from his high powered rifle, scared the living hell out of the poacher
