Default Best way to send stuff to Australia?

What is the best cheapest way to send stuff. Just not on a boat.

Postal Service may very well be your best bet. But since you where so incredibly helpful in your post by describing what exactly you needed to ship I've helped all I can and am unable to offer any alternatives.

What's the cheapest way to get stuff BACK FROM Australia? I am wanting to bring in some of those STi headlight covers and found a place that will sell them, but they want me to arrange shipping. FEDEX wants $100 for 2lbs!!!

Most probably Australia Post would be sufficient enough.
But I am not sure if this can be pre-arranged like Fed Ex, UPS, etc

Try this:

If using Australian post, it should cost much more to ship 2 lbs headlight cover to from the US to Aussie as Aussie has a reliable postal service.
(I'd say about 25% more than from US to Aussie)

I'd say the best way is to persuade the seller/vendor to ship the item for you. (give him "extra" or something)
