Default '03 X-member on the '00 RS

Hey guys...My EJ20T swap is underway already. The EJ25 is out of the car and the new x-member is waiting to be installed/swapped on the RS. Does anyone have any instructions, and know how difficult of a job it is?
Thanks a lot.

~Anthony.

its pretty simple. Just disconnect the steering rod clamps (gold i think). Then unbolt the crossmember. Set it down. Unhook the steering system. Bolt it up to new crossmember. Put new crossmember in. Bolt it up. Connect steering rod clamps

You need to shim the A arms unless you get an old body x-member.

I did the x-member swap. It was EASY. The hardest part was getting the bolts to losen up from the factory monster torque. I had to use excessive force to take out the pass. side control arm bolt. So, I am waiting for a flywheel & clutch (ACT), a power steering reservoir bottle and putting the engine in the engine bay. Sunday I will start to re-wire every plug that needs to be. Thank god I have the bulkhead harnesses all done by the previous guy who sold me the engine. I'll keep you guys posted.
Also, anyone who has done electrical from a 2000 RS to a '03 EJ20T engine can pitch in their knowledge.

~Anthony.

P.S.: Took me 1.5 hours to take the x-member off and 10 min to bolt the new one in.
