Anyone who has replaced their stock headers please PM me if you're looking to get rid of your old stock headers, damaged or not.

The headers, as I understand, gain you a little more torque.

Thumbs up

hey tony,
we met at the subie meet in CT... i liked your "rally" car.

i haven't heard alot of good things about the borla (only brand with a subie application as far as i know). i've heard there was low end loss not to mention they fit poorly and bang on the crossmember.
and also i've seen posts about welds cracking/breaking but on the plus side i hear they sound great

what ecu mod chip do you have??? just curious.

8complex,
what do you have up your sleeve now???

check with Kyle at www.CTCMOtorsports.com

He is building a prototype header for a 2.5RS that should net good power gains. If so, he will end up marketing it.

And no, it does not look like the stock manifold or Borla's.

I work for SPO Motorsports company doing installs and R&D work. I have worked
and driven cars with the Borla and SYSYMS headers.

I just put on the new redesigned Borla header on my RS for testing . The install was very
easy and took no time at all. The header does not hit any where like the old one did
sometimes. The welds and over all quality of the header is good. there is a noticeable
amount of power increase(10-12 hp range maybe and no low end loss) and the sound is
very nice too. The new Borla header is a good header for the price and what you get for
your money. The header will bolt up to all the normal aftermarket exhaust and Borlas own
exhaust. I would recommend the header.

SYSMS header is also a nice header, But lot more money. The header quality good and
the power increase is alittle more (17HP range) the header is still a prototype

The Borla header cost is around $475

not to plug, but WWW.SPOMotorsports.com is looking at placing first run orders soon.
You might give them a call to get in on the order.
