Question Zex Wet Nitrous

How many of you are running a Zex wet nitrous kits? What hp jetting? How much of a difference does the hp shot you are using make at the dragstrip/dyno? Most importantly, what kit are you using? I didn't see any Subaru specific kit for a wet system so I ask. Perhaps it may be the unlisted. I'm getting ready to call Zex up in about an hour but thought it may be good to ask some folks here.

HndaTch627, what nitrous setup are you using? NOS? Looks like a nice direct port setup. I'd love to have something like that.
Looks like it should be pretty effective. I'm confident a 65 shot will work out nicely for you, especially being a direct port.

It's a NOS Sportsman 5030 Kit, it's extremely effective, i had some problems getting the fuel jetted right at first but that's because NOS doesn't say anything in their fuel jet size instructions that all the jet sizes they list in the book are for a stand alone 8 psi fuel system but if you turn the book to the back cover you see the chart which refers to nitrous jet sizes based on fuel pressure differences. I am running a .020" nitrous jet(.080" for all you single fogger guys) and a .014" fuel jet(.056"), i haven't hit the track with it yet but have hit it a couple times on the street and let me be the first to say, 1st and second gear go by extremely quick, first is almost useless and second is also just about as useless but third the car just keeps pulling. I'm hoping with everything i've done i can pull a pretty effortless mid 13

Mods:
Cobb Street Cams
Borla Header
Random Tech High Flow Cat
Ghetto intake tube w/ K&N Filter and velocity stack from Stillen mated to a KartBoy MAF adapter
ACT Heavy Duty Pressure plate
Fidanza 9.6lb flywheel

So far the clutch has had no issue holding the power and shifting hasn't been any problem, only issue is shifting fast enough to aviod the nasty rev limiter, the nice part is if i do hit the rev limiter i don't have much det to worry about since i have the supporting fuel. That and we all know damn well the 00-01 RS' run close to 9.0:1 a/f at redline. So far my EGT's on a 3rd gear pull haven;t gone past 1400 and the plugs are clean(no soot buildup). The nice thing about my kit is that i was able to replace the crappy steel 1/8" with the new NOSzle line, it's NHRA/IHRA approved for use so i don't have anything to worry about at local tracks(well minus the no blow down tube on the bottle).

anyhow, yes the car moves, how well?? we'll have to find out soon

white 2.5 rs: haven't posted much cause i haven't been around much, with a new dog and a summer ahead the home improvement projects have taken over.
