Default kyb GR-2's on a WRX?

Anyone have any experience with the GR2 struts for the WRX? I am considering using them with Prodrive springs and am wondering if they will provide adequate damping....

Yeah go AGX. You'll be glad you spent the extra, $120 or $130.

Would the performance of the AGX's be worth the difference if you don't take the adjustability into consideration? Chances are I would install the AGX's on their softest setting and never change them....

thanks for the advice guys

I wouldn't say THAT.....It actually took me a while to figgure out that 3/3 was what worked best on mine....unless I'm going to visit one of my friends that lives at the end of a LONG washboard dirt/sand road and then 2/2 and lots of WOT is best .....

Get the AGX's.....

i just installed the gr2's with prodrive springs and am impressed with the combo. this combo replaced sti ver 7 struts/springs, b/c they were a little too stiff. the handling is great, but it absorbs bumps better than the v7 setup. i give it 2 thumbs up.

I had my driverside front AGX strut snap in 2!!! it snapped just under the place where the top mount seats. and now KYB is being an ass and telling me its not covered under warranty. i had them on eibachs. i didnt tell them it was at an autox, just that it broke, and they didnt even ask what happend, just said "sorry".

I had GR2's on my RS with eibachs and they were ok for street use, but NOT that good for autox.

seriously though, I say SCREW KYB, and go with Koni's, you will be MUCH happier.
