Default Just moved to arizona

Well.. I just moved to AZ from south florida. Just wondering where all the speed action goes down over here.. I have a 2002 WR blue WRX. Its pretty much stock.. for now.. Just grad from univ, and got a job in Tempe.
I also have a 95 eagle talon tsi with a t03/t4, hks 272 272 cams, hks ext wastegate, apexi fmic, greddy type S bov, full ic piping, RC 550cc injectors, walbro 255lph, SAFC, H&R with tokico 5 way adj shocks, Fidanza 8.6lb flywheel, GSX awd brakes, SS lines, full poly urthane engine and suspension kit, full 3 inch SS dp and offroad cat ( we got no emisssions in florida), and 3 inch apexi N1 catback. It runs 20lbs of boost on 93... sucks there is only 91 here.. might just have it on racegas but then its 24lbs of boost.. not sure yet what I'll do. Anyway, just wondering where the local hangouts are, I can be reached on my email, jbyoung@hotmail.com... looking forward to seeing some other scoobies on the road! drop me a line, I dont really know anyone in the city yet..

there is always the pavillions car show, bu that has been not so good recently. I have been going to the other growing car show, mainly imports, mostly hondas, but I was there last night and there were 5 other subies, vivid showed up with their EVO and the kid who puts it together has a subie. its at the corner of glendale and baseline. there are usually police around so when the stupid get going, they get ticketed. but we just hang around and chill. my friends and i have been wanting to go to firebird, but unfortunately its so damn hot right now i dont feel like running my car that hard.

Tucson isn't that bad. Phoenix sucks though (100 at 9.30pm). Flagstaff is great

its funny, he was talking to me, i want to race against my old car. but you and I both have a 02 aspen white. so he will have to race us both. its all a matter if he has the launch down in that car. it has just a little bit of torque on the bottom end!

no I havent driven my talon since I arrived. Sadly I got my cars transported from florida, and both got messed up on the move. The talon and wrx have been joy ridden, the wrx has a 2ft windshield crack, a gouge on the front bumper, and now the messed up alignment I discovered yesterday was from a bent rear control arm.. This makes me waaaay pissed.... so the insurance division of that company is going to have their balls cut off by the time I get my payment. The talon has a dinged IC, a 7 inch rip in the front bumper and some rubber molding pulled out. Funny how two cars that are shipped side by side, one can have 1 mile on it and the other 2.5 miles. I'm suing the company unless they throw extra dough for the mileage as well as the damage. sucks... finishing the talon tonight to do some street boosting, see how it is doing since I havent driven it since I got here, see if there are any probs like what happenned to the subaru
