Default lookin for some aftermarket racing seats

I'm in the market for some good racing seats and I'm not sure what will fit me. I'm 5'7'' around 175lbs. I sat in my bro's brix II's and they were a snug fit. Any suggestions? Sparco, Recaro, Bride. The Bride Artis 3 seems pretty nice or the Bride Zeta 3. It'd be nice to have cheaper seats though like the Sparco or Recaro.

Thanks

Almost all the bride seats will be a tight fit, unless you get the "L" series or your under 150lbs. I have a set of the zeta III's. I'm 5'11 190lbs, and they fit pretty tight. With the fixed seat position you have little to no room for adjusting, other than moving it forward and back. The ride feel of the car is also a bit more harsh. If you feel the road now, switching to racing seats may make it worse. A few of my friends have gotten headaches riding in the front. Recaro and sparco may offer you better comfort. It's a pain sometimes to get out of the fixed seated brides. Get something you can live with. Find a balance between what you intend on using it for and what you don't, for example, track days and groceries.

thanks for the link, the seat dimensions on that page really help.

I was wondering if Bride was a tighter fit than the others. Right now I'm leaning more towards Sparco, but trying to decide between which models I want.

thanks

Sparco reclineables suck. the quality is not that great and the plastic onthem are weak. We have had several Sparco seats break (plastic trin around the harness guides and the rotary knobs).

Sparco reclineable seats are jsut sent out and manufactured by an overseas seat manufacturer. Sparco makes race buckets, not reclining seats.... I'd seriously look elsewhere for seats. all "brand name" recliners are made by other factories...
