Talking Altezza tail lights!

I want some Altezza style tail lights for my WRX. Anyone know if these are currently under production? I personally don't care for the look of the OEM tail lights.

Honestly.... If you want Altezza style tail lights, Buy an Altezza (Or Lexus IS 300).

So you are blind too.

DON'T do this, most are very cheap and fall apart within a few weeks.

Biggest reason not to do it is you will be THE cop magnet on the road. They will pick YOU over a vette, when they are goign to pull over a speeder.

Why don't you guys like these? I think they look way cool. Much better then then clear lense look. Buy an IS300? What? Why spend 32k on a slower car?

I think Honda is having some low lease rates and good buying deals right now. That would better suit your needs. That or an Integruh.

Heh... LOL

Funny one Brahmzy!

Seriously, They might look ok, and they definitely look better than the all-clear stuff, but they are made out of super cheap, thin plastic that will leak. I think the short life of them should encourage you to not spend the money on them.

JMO...

They only look cool on an Altezza, and they look hideous on everything else. Don't do it man, be strong, don't give into the dark side!

Everyone is entitled to there own opinion but I LOVE these things. Definately will have to look into the quality issue though. Do you guys just not like them because of the *rice* thing or what? Nobody is saying why they don't like them?? I could care if someone said my car looked *rice* just as long as I am happy with it. I don't discriminate against Asians or anyone for that mater. So nobody is going to do a big wing on there WRX either...ya right!

Big wing is a Subaru thing-it always has been(WRC). Different with Honda. Besides, those taillights just look corny. If someone could do a conservative Altezza in good taste, I might be interested, but I don't see that happenin' On second thought, NO I would never be interested. I just think that stuff makes cars look "hoopty" and cheapened.

(everyone's entitiled to their own opinion ... this is just mine -- I'd rather spend $200 on a driving school or good set of tires than this)

Hey, the guy likes the way they look. And I'm sure there'll be Altezza lights for the WRX in a few months time. When they do come out, pay attention to the quality and buy smart but if you like'm, get'em! Long live rice!...if that's what ya like.

Actually, I saw a set on a silver '94 Prelude yesterday, and they made it look very cool. Ricy, but mean. I think they'd look like ass on a WRX, though.

i think i'd be tempted to get them if they weren't showing up on every other car out there right now. here in atlanta every other modified car has them, even some cars that aren't really modified, just have these lights. but we will eventually need some kind of upgrade for those tail lights. eventually..... i think for now engine work and enjoying the car will be enough...

You'd rather spend 200 dollars on a driving school or tires??? What for 30 mins of one lesson? And 1 tire? I dunno what planet you live on... but driving schools cost 2-5 grand and tires cost 100-400 EACH

If you want to get them go for it... it's your car not theirs you wanna put frickin' 25 inch chrome wheels I say do it... if you like it and you and your friends are into it then why listen to these guys who you don't even know?

(btw -- these guys are much different than most people... they are the niche crowd of the 2.5RS.... they don't like rice they mod their cars for 'performance' you know, because you have to have stabilizier kits for daily driving DUH.... the WRX will change this A LOT and they don't like that fact... well to bad I say I don't give a crap about your lame 2.5RS I never bought one and I never will Only reason I like the WRX is because it's an awesome car, I don't care who makes it or what the race heritage is or any other BS... 2.5 RS is a slow P.O.C. it's a frickin' Civic Si... Yes it is.... don't try and tell me it isn't the car has a huge wing and hood scoops for no REASON! It came from the Impreza L the Si came from the Civic EX... they are the same damn thing... I hate how these guys mock Si's (no I don't own one, they suck ) but clain their 2.5RS is not the same thing... well sorry it is...)

Now I'm pissed well if I get a Rex I'll be happy to hand anyone their ass I Don't care about your damn little 2.5RS (You think a S2000 wouldn't own a Riced out Si??? But they're still honda you say!! screw that! hehehe)

J-Spec, one thing to remember before you bash all the RS ownser some more: You wouldn't be getting the WRX if we hadn't bought the RS.

Where's the originality in doing Altezza lights?

If you must be different then why not graph something else on? Altezza's are so played out.

Repect the 2.5RS' authrota!!! And be careful, there are some "ricey" RS' what will spank a wrx. I just hope I dont meet up with them...cuz I'm gonna have to spend more moeny to make the wrx even faster
I love my rs, and am very proud to have owned one.
