Question IMPBOY what do u have done to your car?

I saw your 15.1@89 run and was wondering what you have done to your car. I have a 2001 RS and I ran a 16.1@85 at Sears point. The car only had a little over 2000 miles and I have JC sports intake and the subaru/brospeed muffler. I have been told that the car will break in more but I was dissapointed. What did you launch at and what was your 60 foot? I tried 3000 and 4000 rpm and was getting around 2.3 60's.
People also say that the JC intake effects the low end performance.

Thanks,
Scootr

Never mind what you have done I saw it on the members list. I am pretty impressed that you got a 15.1 with intake, exhaust and a pulley. I was thinking that if I got the borla headers and more familiar with my car that I would get low 15's. Did you notice a lot with the pulley?

Thanks

I also have AFC, magnecore wires, breather can and half gutted interior. I launch at the red line but don't drop the clutch anymore. I usually get 2.0 for 60 ft. My clutch is starting to slip but still confident about 14.9 15.1 was with bad launch. Recently I got 9.55 for 1/8.

Yes, I definitly felt the difference with pulley. It should be one of the basic mods along with intake and exhaust.
