Fastech on 97th Street south, I think. If they don't they'd know who does.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully the tires show up today and then I can get them prepped for next weekend.

Called Fastech, they don't do it. Didn't know of anyone in town, any other suggestions.

What kind of R's did you get? Depending on what they are you might be able to get away with just a quick heat cycle on the street and a relatively gentle scrubbing on on the track. I didn't get my R's shaved.

Hummmm, yah I think the ESCTA's are recommended that they are shaved for dry usage, but I think Pat drove on his without having them shaved, and the have lasted ok for him. If there's anyone to ask, check with him about the tires. I've also heard that these tires are much more sensitive to camber then the Victoracers, and they really require at least -2 degrees to get the most performance and life out of them.

Please keep this thread alive. I too would like to know if there is a place locally that shaves tires. I've run out of slicks for road racing & can't afford new ones anymore.
