Post ECU problems Help!!!!!!!!!

I have SAFC and I reset the ecu last night. I notice now that when it hits 4k rpm it hestitates and at low rpm around 1-3k it does it too. I don't understand what the problem is. I also noticed that it doesn't read the second O2 sensor any more. Does any one have a clue on what i should do?

is your rpm going up and down from 500 to 1500 when idling?
and during that time your car stinks really bad?
if it does..then i am sorry to inform you that you have a blow maf sensor...
good luck

It only does this when i reset the ecu. Before i resetted it it did not do this..

When it idles it it idles really low like around 645rpm and it seem like it not getting any gas because it stalls sometimes..

But it did idle really low before i reset the ecu that why i reset it. It seemed like when it idle that is was not getting enough gas..

Question

I wonder if one of the wires connecting the AFC to the ECU came loose? If the ECU is not getting a good signal from the O2 sensor I am sure that it wouldn't run that well. Try going back and checking your connections, sometimes it's the little easy stuff that causes problems. At least if you do that, you can rule it out.

ok....
this is the symptom that i had when i blow my first and only maf soooo far...( keeping my fingers cross )
the car runs fine.... i can take it above 4500 rpm... i heard that some of the others can't because it was on a limp mode...
so at that moment i thought my maf was fine...
then i start to notice the bad idling...
feels like its going to stalls then the rpm go up to 1500 rpm... and this will go up and down when the car is idle ( like at a light.)
the car is running very RICH... therefore it really stinks....
theni decided to take it to the dealer... and they told me it was the MAF...
made it appointment with them...
got my MAF change and everything back to normal...
so i had a blown MAF sensor..
i guess if you were experiencing what i experienced than you got yourself a blow maf...
see if you can rev above over 4500 rpm (when in gear..) if you can't than you are in limp mode...
bottomline take it to the dealer to see what kind of code they pull out from the ecu...
check engine light don't just come on unless you know what is causing it to come on...
my is on 24/7 becuase of my high flow cat...
i know that because my dealer told me... the code they pull was the cat efficency was below threshold....
good luck...
michael
ps: take it to the dealer and check it out..

with what you told me i am pretty sure tat you have a blown maf...
it will only be under warranty if it was still under 36,000 or 3 years..unless you have the gold premium warrenty whcih is 100,00 and 6 years i believe.
if you are not under warrenty then it was probably cost you around 400 to get it replace and install...
let the dealer find out what is the exact cost is..
if its blown MAF then i would tell you to go order the part from www.subaruparts.com
for 200 ish i think... then put it in yourself..
its pretty easy...
that is what i would do next time if it happens again...
the only good thing if you let your dealer do the whole this is that maf will be under warrenty for 12,000 or 1 year..
i think that is pretty good...
a little added security ....
hope this helps
good luck
michael
