Default intercooler help

i have a 02 wrx and was wondering if an 04 STi intercooler would just bolt right up to my car? would i need anything extra? also would this even be worth it? will i see any difference what so ever between my stock intercooler and the STi intercooler?

thanks guys

guess what, this has been answered, but I'll answer it anyways

no, it will not bolt right up, one of the brackets doesn't fit. you will also have to move you a/c lines

if you haven't done anything else to your car, then no, this wouldn't really benefit you. and anyways, you would be better off with a larger aftermarket intercooler

You can get an STI TMIC from an older STi that will botl right up for about 500-600 bucks
It will do just about nothing power wise.
Or
you can buy a used aftermarket TMIC that will actually make power, for 500-600 bucks.
I think there is only one sane choice.
