Default STI motor & trany mounts

I have a 98RS and im about to change out the stock cluck with an ACT clutch and ACT light weight flywheel. well im done there I was going to change the stock motor and tranny mounts but have been un able to find the sti motor mounts for an RS. All I can find are sti motor mounts for a WRX. Are they interchangable? Or any one know where i can find the sti motor mounts for a good price??

thanks

MIKE

I'm not sure if they're the same on the RS, but quantum has the trans mount for $63 and the motor mount set for $89.

i got mine from the private for sale page. I recommend the group -N mounts as they are stiffer than the regular sti mounts.

The Group N engine mounts are the same for any year of Impreza regardless of tranny type. Same goes for the 5MT tranny mount. The reason you are only finding them shown for WRX's is

A) quite a few vendors don't know what fits the cars they sell parts for (hell, SOA doesn't even know, so I can't blame them) and
B) bandwagoning (there are 6 to 8 times as many WRX's out there as old skool RS's)

Thanks for the help guys.

Do you think it would be cheaper to just buy everthing, clutch and mounts, from a private vender? That way I know exactly what I am getting.

BTW... I got a really good deal on Group N engine and tranny mounts when I went to the East Coast Subaru Shootout in Beaver Springs PA. I think it was W&L Subaru. They gave everyone a discount because of the event.
