Default 99rs Shortblock in a 2000rs

any reason why it would be a direct swap? nothing different in the blocks besides the pistons is there? - IC

Should be a direct swap...............just make sure you put on some better gaskets than stock. (Since you'll have it open)

Edit: Oh, and the pistons are the same.

actually, i found a place that will build up a ej22t to my specs. and its still cheaper than a sti SB with forged pistons. and alot better than a 99rs sb.(was gunna buy one just to hold n\me over)- IC
