Question So where are all the pics of the Hella Horns?

Now that I finally got pics of mine, I would like to see how they "compare"

Still need to paint mine a different color thou. Just haven't figured out what color....

That looks great! Necromancer and I used the stock mounting holes. Man, that was a PITA to make a bracket for it. Now that I see how you mounted your in a symmetrical fashion, I think I will redo it to look like yours.

Philip, did you have to lengthen one of the wires for the horn on the passenger side? Was the hole there threaded?

I think your setup may be better than bobski's and my 6-hour jobbie.

Hey now! that's not too shabby for having practically no tools.

How come we didn't think of that location? I don't remember that hole there. I'll have to take a look int the mornign. It looks like he used the original brackets on the Hella.

6 hours?!?!?!?!?!?

I guess I shouldn't tell you how long it took me (well ok, around 20mins, but I did spend time planning out the circuit setup).

I only used one stock horn wire and that was to trip the relay.

<IMG SRC="http://216.242.153.40/MembersList/UserPics/3279/Side_Horns.jpg" border=0>

The red circles are trying to show that the screws are different, for the obvious reason that the holes are of different sizes. One is stock (since its where one of the stock horns came from) the other is a self-tapping screw that I had that fit perfect. Then I just angled them to around the same level.

The blue circle is actually showing the horn connection that I did not use. I just bent it over and zip-tied it.

<IMG SRC="http://216.242.153.40/MembersList/UserPics/3279/Horn_Wiring.jpg" border=0>

Red circle is showing the 20A fuse (still haven't actually checked what it needs). Blue circle is trying to show the location of the relay .

Alex made a comment about the wires over heating and then grounding themselves and screwing the whole car up....... well I thought this over a lot after he said that. I made 4 very long trips (4 hour trips) and have made some very hard runs in warm weather, with not even a slight blemish on the installation of the wires. And then if they do, if they are after the relay they wouldn't be in effect till I hit the horn. Before the relay the fuse should take effect.

After what is probably one of my longest posts, I am happy with how they look from outside (except the color), but I do feel I need to clean up the relay area a bit.
