My friend just got these put on his Maxima last week.

The DMV asked him what it meant and he told them "SLU Sevens" was a poker term.

It doesn't look like I can get a custom "specialty" plate but I need to check with DMV on that because there could be some real winners. "DERP" or "DERRRR" on the Special Olympics plate, "OM NOM" on the Breast Cancer Awareness plate, and "MOOOO" on the SC Cattlemen's plate were a few that jumped into my head.

If I can't do any of them I'm considering the Square Dancing plate
to the best of my knowledge you can only get customized SC plates in this style. This is mine

I got a new army plate, but it's just numbers at the moment. Thought about doing something different but meh.

I feel your pain. My plate is LIV4PSI, which I'm sure makes sense to everyone one here. I realized non-automotive enthusiasts wouldn't get it, which I was fine with.

What I didn't realize is that some people think it stands for Live for *****, which would make me the biggest douchebag brotato I know. I have had 3 people makes comments of that affect to my face. I wonder how many think it on the road.

I know exactly where that is. Just coming off the Vine St. Expressway eastbound into Center City... looks like the 15th St/Broad St. exit next to Hahenemann Hospital. Fond memories of Philly. Good looking car.

I don't see a lot of WRX/STIs that often, so was kind of funny when I saw this one yesterday and that it had special tags.

Has a bit more meaning over here in Detroit than it might have in other areas.
